Training Starts

October 17, 2025

Application & Registration

the ONLY teacher training program in Chicago grounded in both Power and Yin Yoga.

The program director, Dr. Eboni Howard, is a Certified Baptiste Power Yoga Teacher. Baptiste Power Vinyasa Yoga is a combination of yoga traditions, including Ashtanga and Iyengar. It is grounded in the physical practice and embraces adaptation in the body to spark transformation in the body, mind and spirit. This tradition doesn’t ask the student to fit into a prescribed model but instead supports the student to become who they really are.

This is also the only yoga teacher training program in Chicago grounded in Yin Yoga. Several program faculty and teachers are trained by Masters Paulie Zink, Bernie Clark, Paul Grilley, and Sarah Powers. Yin Yoga enables us to dive deeper into the soft tissues of our bodies: ligaments, bones, joints, muscles. This style also supports adaptation to meet the needs of all unique bodies and levels!

What do past graduates say?

“This teacher training program left me feeling prepared and excited to teach once the program ended. Each weekend was well-rounded, thoughtfully crafted, and had great instructors. This training was great for learning the foundations of yoga and I would recommend it to others. In this program, you will grow in your personal practice, be part of a supportive community, and learn how to teach yoga!” Mary Callaghan, 2024 Graduate

“I gained a wealth of knowledge here and I would highly encourage others to train here if they wish to learn not only the history and practice of yoga (specifically Baptiste Power Yoga and Yin Yoga), but also about themselves and their strengths and areas for growth when it comes to leadership, authentic connection, and genuine expression.” —Alyse Robinson, 2023 Graduate

"I found the experience to be incredibly motivating and the instructors absolutely magnificent. This program was a masterclass in education and changed me from a skeptic, to a believer in yoga as a transformative force. Going beyond the asanas and into the psychology of the student and teacher was interesting and much more rewarding than I had expected. I feel prepared to teach and do much more in my future thanks to the skills learned at this teacher training!” —Matt Conrady, 2022 Graduate

“Eboni and Peggy provided a curriculum that was comprehensive, supportive, and fun! There was space for self reflection and after completing the program I had new ways to practice yoga on and off my mat. I would highly recommend this yoga teacher training for anyone looking to become a yoga teacher or deepen their practice.” —Ashli Owens, 2021 Graduate

This teacher training program is amazing. It spaces out the weekends perfectly so you have time to delve into readings and do out of studio assignments. Peggy and Eb have so much knowledge as well as the rest of the staff that they brought on to assist them with different topics. I could not recommend a teacher training more highly. Stefania Girardi, 2020 Graduate
